Curriculum
Every month, the curriculum is different. It differs according to the seasons as well. As you can see below, on December’s curriculum we do a lot of cooking associated with December and the cold season. We do a lot of cooking, have Santa visit us, and during art class we decorate Gingerbread houses.
Programs
Development
TBCH development program is different every day. On Mondays, we do science and origami. On Tuesdays, we have a dance teacher come and teach different types of dance. On Wednesdays, we do story-telling through the use of puppet shows and props to grasp every attention of the children listening to the story. We also do puzzles according to the child’s capabilities and skill. On Thursdays, a music teacher comes and teaches the children how to play drums, piano, xylophone, violin, flute, and etc, and later do play dough. On Fridays, we follow the curriculum and do arts & crafts accordingly.
Afterschool
Afterschool children do not have nap time and during that time, they will go to a different room and learn English, math, and Korean from a teacher. We give out worksheets according to the child’s education level and can pick up more speed if the child is improving. Sometimes the child works individually but there are also times when the children all come together for conversation time or educational game time.
