COVID-19 Situation
Ever since quarantine happened due to COVID-19, we have moved all our learning online. We have video calls through Google hangout every day with the children and divide them up in small groups so that it is easy for teachers to teach the curriculum through the screens. We scan worksheets prior to meeting online, so that the children may print them out and complete them beforehand. During the meeting, the children review and learn more about the lesson with a lot of fun.
Curriculum
Every month, the curriculum is different. It differs according to the seasons as well. On December’s curriculum we do a lot of cooking associated with winter and the cold season. We do a lot of cooking, have Santa visit us, and during art class we decorate Gingerbread houses.
Schedule
There is a TBCH Schedule and an Afterschool Schedule. For the Afterschool Schedule, there is no nap time and during that time, the children will go to a separate room and learn English, math, and Korean with a teacher. Also there is a 2019-2020 Calendar. On the calendar we have the breaks written as well as special dress-up days.
